Olive Harvest

Our olive harvest will begin in late April 2012. The oil olives will be mechanically harvested. Come and visit for a tour of the grove and see the olives on the trees, that make our virgin oils.
Around the same time you will be able to inspect our Kalamata and Manzanillo table olives. This year our table olives will be processed on our property.
If you wish to pick your own olives and process yourself you will be welcome to participate.
There will be more details posted on this news page as the time comes closer.
Make a weekend of it, bring your friends and stay in our "Farm Stay Country Home" and you can be here for the harvest and take part in it. The home sleeps 8 but if there are more of you, nearby accommodation can be arranged.
For that special occasion we can arrange catering to make your visit a memorable one.

Grape Harvest

The 2012 grape harvest has started and will continue until late February, maybe early March.
If you have not seen grapes prior to harvest now is your chance to have a personal tour of our vineyard and inspect our 7 varieties of grapes, then come to our cellar door and try our 2011 vintage.

A Little Bit of Italy

On the weekend of the 31ST March & 1st April, Broke Fordwich will celebrate "A Little Bit of Italy" in the tranquil side of the Hunter Valley
Visit us at Broke's Promise Estate, 725 Milbrodale Road, Broke, for tastings of our 2011 vintage wines, including "Barbera" our Northern Italian Red, plus our award winning olive oil, olives and tapenades.
Our outdoor kitchen will be serving wood fired pizzas, plus our own special BBQ sausages along with the finest pastas and salads, for the whole weekend.
